General Liability Insurance
Coverage designed for third-party bodily injury and property damage caused by your business, like a client injury sustained during one of your classes that requires medical care.
Professional Liability Insurance
Also known as health coach malpractice insurance, this is coverage designed for injuries or damages that occur as a result of your advice, coaching, or other services.
Diet & Nutrition Coverage
Optional coverage designed for additional services you offer clients, such as dietary advice, nutrition education, meal planning guidance, or similar.
Optional coverage designed to protect your tools and equipment against theft and damages.
Optional coverage designed to respond to cybercrime-related claims.
Additional Insureds
Optional coverage designed for third parties, like property owners, event organizers, or employers. It cannot be used for employees, friends or family, other coaches, yourself, or other businesses you may own.

Optional coverage designed to help pay for claims related to sexual molestation or misconduct.

The most your policy can pay annually for bodily injury and property damage claims occurring during your coverage as a result of your business operations or professional services. For example, someone slips in your studio or is injured during a workout you were leading.

The maximum amount your policy will pay annually for claims of bodily injury or property damage due to an incident that occurred with a product during or after your class, such as a faulty piece of equipment injuring a client.

The maximum amount paid out in the case of a cyber attack on your business. Because this coverage is not automatically included in the standard General Liability Policy, you will need to opt into this coverage. See the application for additional coverage details for Cyber Liability Insurance.

Coverage for additional services you offer clients, such as diet guidelines, meal plans, or the sale/recommendation of health supplements. These services are not covered by professional liability and require Diet & Nutrition Coverage.

Coverage for a third party, such as a business, property owner, event organizer, or employer who could be named in a claim arising from your business operations. It cannot be used for employees, friends or family, other trainers, yourself, or other businesses you may own. Add one additional insured for $15, or choose unlimited additional insureds for $30.

Sexual Abuse & Molestation (SAM) Insurance
Coverage for defense costs if you’re wrongly accused of sexual harassment or improper conduct.

Yes! Insurance Canopy’s health coach liability insurance covers you for in-person, online, and hybrid sessions. Stay protected wherever you coach.
Yes, some exclusions are common under most general and professional liability policies (like intentional harm or sexual harassment claims). You’ll find the specific exclusions listed on your policy.
Diet and nutrition coverage also excludes the sale of nutritional, medicinal, or herbal products, as well as dietary or nutritional-related work for hospitals, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, home health care providers, health clinics, schools, or professional sport teams.

- Add your information and supporting documentation
- Submit your claim
Once you submit your claim, you will be contacted by a claims adjuster in about 24–48 hours. They’ll provide you with your claim number and will answer any questions you may have.
With occurrence form coverage, you can file a claim anytime for accidents that occur during your policy period (even after your policy has ended). Make sure you still have your policy information, documentation of the accident, and the date it happened.*
*All customers who purchased a policy before 7/1/2024 will have a policy issued through Great American Insurance. This policy does not include occurrence form coverage and will be eligible to receive it after 7/1/2025.
