Get Additional Coverage
Insurance Canopy offers endorsements, or policy options, that can be added onto your base coverage. If you are a dog trainer that also provides overnight care for dogs, there is an endorsement available to you. Other endorsements will be easy to add to your policy during checkout.
Benefit from Cyber Liability
We also offer a cyber liability insurance that can also be added onto your base coverage. Nearly 1 in 4 businesses has experienced a cybersecurity event. If your business collects or stores customer information–including names, addresses, and payment information–that information needs to be secured. Compromised or stolen customer information can put your business at risk of liability, this policy has coverage for those risks.
Purchase Easily
Insurance Canopy offers the ease of purchasing your policy online in 10 minutes or less. If you have any questions, you can chat with one of our licensed insurance agents, or if you’d prefer you can give us a call. We make it easy for you to sign up through Facebook or Google, and also offer the option to set up an account with your email address to purchase your policy.

Questions About Dog Training Insurance
Dog Training insurance covers claims related to the day-to-day operations of your dog training business. We know that as a trained professional, you do your best to keep your furry clients safe. However, unplanned incidents are bound to happen. Perhaps you are training a dog and they bite either another dog or its owner. You could be held responsible for any harm done to anyone that happened while the dog was in your care. Whatever the case, you’ll be glad that you’re insured. Protect your business and work with confidence by carrying Dog Training Insurance From Insurance Canopy.
The Animal Bailee and Veterinary Expense Reimbursement in your Insurance Canopy policy work together. If an animal in your care gets sick, injured, or has an accident, then Vet Reimbursement responds first to insure you up to $1,000 for the incident with a $250 deductible.
If the cost of the claim is more than $1,000, then your Animal Bailee coverage will kick in to offer up to $2,500 more for the incident. If you’ve already paid to increase this limit to $5,000, $10,000 or $15,000 per occurrence, it can pay up to the limit you chose.
Whatever ends up getting paid out for the incident will be deducted from the aggregate limits on your policy.
Being insured is an essential part of being a dog trainer. It’s an important component of your business to protect your financial assets if you were to be sued as a result of your business operations. You could be held liable for common slip-and-fall accidents, client injuries or illnesses, or damages arising from your dog training services. The legal costs alone from any of the above could put you out of business. With Insurance Canopy’s Dog Training Insurance, you’ll be protected from common claims and have coverage in the case that something goes wrong.
Dog Training insurance, which includes both general and professional liability insurance, starts at $292.20 per year.
If you board five (5) or fewer pets at once for 30 days or less in a row, your dog trainer insurance can cover your boarding, too. As long as you limit the number of dogs involved, overnight or weekend training camps for your furry clients can usually be protected.
To help larger training businesses cover more dogs or longer stays, Insurance Canopy partners with CNA, an A-rated carrier. Get a quote from CNA or call us at 844.520.6993 for help getting started. We’re here to help you train safely and confidently.
