Joshua Johanson

Joshua Johanson is the Underwriting Manager for Insurance Canopy. With over 12 years of experience in the insurance industry, Josh began his career as a Commercial Underwriter for a Fortune 500 Company, underwriting all lines of commercial insurance.

Josh joined Insurance Canopy in 2016 as the Underwriting Manager. In this role, he oversees the in-house underwriting division, which is responsible for growing and maintaining a profitable book of business with annual written premiums exceeding $20 million.

As the Underwriting Manager, Josh enjoys fostering relationships with the sales team and fellow employees while thinking “outside the box” to find ways to insure challenging risks for our customers.
