Megan Finley

Megan Finley is a copywriter with Veracity Insurance, contributing to the Insurance Canopy site. She is fully trained on Insurance Canopy’s wide variety of products and is equipped to help small business owners navigate their insurance needs.

Megan holds a Master’s Degree in English from Brigham Young University–Provo and a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from California State University, Long Beach. Ever-learning, Megan has also earned a certificate in Marketing from Cornell University. She graduated with honors from each school and has distinguished herself as a writing, translation, and adaptation scholar.

Megan has worked in the academic field as an adjunct university professor, in the e-learning sector as a copywriter, and as a lead copywriter in the corporate world. In these diverse roles, she has had the opportunity to write everything from SEO-optimized web content to video scripts to product packaging. Storytelling is the center of her life; no matter what sphere of writing—academic or professional—Megan believes in telling stories with heart.

When she isn’t writing or traveling, Megan enjoys cozy video games, classic rock, tacos, and advancing her Japanese-learning streak in Duolingo.
