- Martial Arts or Physical Contact Training
- Medical Professional Services (such as medical, therapy, or health care service)
- Operations or services involving an equine
- Pole Dancing, Pole Fitness, and Exotic Exercise
- Water Fitness Trainers

– Wrongful Eviction or Wrongful Entry
– Oral or written publications that slander or libels a person or organization

– The use of another’s advertising idea in your advertisement

The maximum the insurance carrier will pay for a bodily injury or property damage claim that you become legally obligated to pay due to your business and professional services.

Can I Customize My Policy?
Yes, you can customize your fitness instructor insurance! Your base policy includes general and professional liability coverage to cover you for claims of client injuries, property damage, and professional mistakes.
Boost your coverage with optional add-ons like additional insureds, gear and equipment coverage, cyber liability insurance, or diet and nutrition coverage.
You can also pay how you want — choose from monthly or yearly payment options.
Just select what you need during your online application (or any time after purchase through your user dashboard) and you’re all set!
Am I Covered if I Work at Multiple Locations?
Yes! You hustle from the gym to clients’ homes and back again — your coverage keeps up with you wherever you work.
Facilities will often require you to carry liability insurance and add them as additional insureds on your policy. Insurance Canopy makes it easy for you to meet requirements, get covered, and start training at multiple locations fast.
Am I Covered if I Teach Children?
Dance instructors who teach children are covered under Insurance Canopy’s fitness policy.
Personal trainers, yoga teachers, coaches and other fitness professionals are only covered to train children eight years old and up.
Am I Covered if I Teach Online?
Yes, if you teach fitness via virtual classes or offer pre-recorded videos, you’re covered with a fitness instructor policy. Insurance Canopy proudly insures many common types of fitness training styles — both online and in-person!
Don’t forget: If your business is largely online, it’s smart to secure cyber liability coverage in case of cyber attacks on your or your clients’ sensitive information.
