Insurance Canopy provides affordable, 5-star-rated acupuncture insurance to certified acupuncture professionals. Insurance Canopy offers coverage at affordable prices so you can protect your acupuncture business and work with peace of mind knowing you have the right coverage from Insurance Canopy.
Get Additional Coverage
Insurance Canopy offers endorsements, or policy options, that can be added onto your base coverage. If you are an acupuncturist that practices cupping, you can add a cupping endorsement to your policy. If you use your own equipment, or transport equipment to multiple locations, you will want to protect it against theft, damage, or loss with tools and equipment coverage. Other endorsements will be easy to add to your policy during checkout.
Benefit from Cyber Liability
We also offer Cyber Liability Insurance that can also be added onto your base coverage. Nearly 1 in 4 businesses has experienced a cybersecurity event. If your business collects or stores customer information–including names, addresses, and payment information–that information needs to be secured. Compromised or stolen customer information can put your business at risk of liability, this policy has coverage for those risks.
Insurance Canopy offers the ease of purchasing your policy online in 10 minutes or less. If you have any questions, you can chat with one of our certified insurance agents, or if you’d prefer you can give us a call. We make it easy for you to sign up through Facebook or Google and also offer the option to set up an account with your email address to purchase your policy.

Questions About Acupuncture Insurance
Acupuncture Insurance covers claims related to the day-to-day operations of your acupuncture business. We know that as a trained professional, you do your best to keep your clients safe and satisfied. However, unplanned incidents are bound to happen. Perhaps your client gets an infection from one of the needles you use during your practice. You could be held liable and have to pay for any associated treatment costs. Whatever the case, you’ll be glad that you’re insured. Protect your business from malpractice and negligence and practice with financial peace of mind by carrying an Acupuncture Insurance policy.
General liability acupuncture insurance protects you against lawsuits and property damages. Some of these claims could be damage to client’s household possessions or home if you are an in-home acupuncturist, slip-and-fall accidents, and data loss.
Professional liability acupuncture insurance protects you in case of malpractice or negligence, complaints to a state licensing board and the costs to defend yourself, and HIPAA violations covered up to $25,000.
The following acupuncture professionals are covered with Insurance Canopy:
- Traditional Needle Acupuncture
- Dry Cupping (No Flames)
Being insured is an essential part of being an acupuncturist. It’s an important component of your business to protect your financial assets if you were to be sued as a result of your business operations. You could be held liable for common slip-and-fall accidents, client injuries or illnesses, or damages arising from your hairstylist services. The legal costs alone from any of the above could put you out of business. With coverage from Insurance Canopy, you’ll be protected from common claims and have coverage in the case that something goes wrong.
Acupuncture insurance, which includes both general and professional liability insurance, starts at $43 per month, or $499 per year.
