Annual Band Insurance vs. Event Policy?
With both an annual and event policy available, it’s important you select the right plan for your band. Let’s break down the differences to help you choose the best coverage option.
The event policy covers you for events lasting 1–3 days. The coverage is continuous, meaning you can’t space them between weekends. This is ideal for bands that don’t have more than 3 events they perform at each year. The full policy amount is paid upfront.
The annual policy covers you for 12 months—an easy way to insure a year’s worth of events all under one plan. This policy has more options for customizing your policy, including instrument insurance with “Tools & Equipment”. This is ideal for bands and artists planning to book more than 3 gigs per year.
Easily name the venue or location you are performing at by adding an Additional Insured on to your event or annual band insurance policy. You can also add excess liability to meet any insurance requirements that are outlined in your contract.
