What Are Amazon’s Seller Insurance Requirements?
If you make $10,000 in sales in 30 days, your contract requires you to obtain a policy that meets Amazon insurance requirements. Some of these include:
- Proof of insurance with an original, signed Certificate of Insurance (COI)
- A policy with a general liability limit of at least $1 million that covers all listed Amazon products, and includes product liability and other necessary coverages
- Amazon must be named as an additional insured on your COI
- A Policy from an insurance carrier with a rating of S&P A- or AM Best A- or better
- The policy deductible must not exceed $10,000
